Giorgio Armani - 10 Corso Como Collection

Giorgio Armani presents an exclusive preview of the Giorgio Armani - 10 Corso Como collection. An iconic compendium of a timeless style in everlasting black and white,10 Corso Como is a new iteration, at once consistent and new, of the Armani lexicon.

The offer consists of single or double-breasted blazers, long coats and cabans, flowing trousers, soft pullovers, accessorised with flat lace-ups or high-heeled pumps, and two bags: one large and soft style and La Prima in its classic version.

The juxtaposition of the masculine and the feminine happens effortlessly, while the black and white palette creates a graphic allure, emphasised by jacquard stripe patterns. Materials are natural and precious: wools, silks, velvets, cashmere. A sweatshirt ironically plays with the stylised portrait of Giorgio Armani.

The collection will be offered in a special packaging at 10 Corso Como in Milan and online, and subsequently also in Giorgio Armani boutiques in Milan, New York Madison Avenue, Tokyo Ginza Tower and Shanghai.

VALENTINO Presents The Party Collection

Maison Valentino celebrates the gradual return to life in preparation for this festive season by presenting The Party Collection. The characters that populate The Party Collection are dedicated to the most classic party activities that reconnect us to others.

In the last SS2022 fashion show, Valentino Rendez-Vous, which invaded the streets of Paris to showcase the desire to be together and enjoy the company of others again after the experience of the pandemic, the Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli continues in his re-signification of the Maison’s codes.

The starting point is still the connection between seemingly disparate elements that actually coexist in perfect harmony: between the Couture and the Prêt-à-porter, primarily, in the continuous search for a shared wardrobe where denim is paired with sequins, the VLogo sweatshirt with Valentino Garavani Roman Stud accessories, the evening dress turns into brightly coloured shorts.

The joyful attitude of The Party Collection explodes into a cheerful and extremely stylish house party: from the sparkling look to the more urban-oriented one, guests rediscover the desire to wear fine garments, where feathers are combined with lurex, tweed is trimmed with silver ribbons and the dresses are embellished with fruit-shaped embroidery and sequins.

Each look refers to a different personality to play with, like those tried out in the endless hours of quarantine, a little as a joke, a little out of boredom, and which many of us have shared on our social media accounts.

Fashion is now regaining its most genuine dimension, that of the pleasure of dressing well, for oneself and for others. An exercise in lightness which - in going from the virtual to the real - is first and foremost a celebration of being together.

H&M Wants You To Get Ready For The Party

H&M’s pioneering new collection, Innovation Circular Design Story, celebrates two themes; sustainability and joy.

It is about embracing the future, boldly. Made using a plethora of cutting-edge recycled and recyclable materials, and with maximum attention to adaptability and usage, the collection highlights H&M’s commitment to a more circular form of production.

To celebrate this new collection, H&M has teamed up with Normani, Gigi Hadid and Kaia Gerber amongst others, to embrace the excitement and anticipation of party-prep and dressing up.

The Innovation Circular Design Story is the latest addition to H&M’s Innovation Stories, a ground-breaking new sustainability initiative that focuses on forward-thinking design and innovative materials.

The collection is for those who love to experiment and express themselves, and this jubilant ethos is also reflected in the campaign; shot by the pioneering photographer Rafael Pavarotti and titled “Just before the party starts”.

The theme captures the sensation of getting ready, and the optimism and individuality of those who love fashion, glamming up, choosing looks, posing in front of the mirror, dancing, and being free.

The collection was created by the H&M design team together with the stylist Ib Kamara, who contributed as Creative Advisor and styled the campaign.

Both Kamara and Pavarotti were given creative agency to bring their dynamic, colourful vision to life.

Instagram posts by Normani, Gigi and Kaia amongst others offer a unique preview of the collection celebrations. Follow on Instagram to see each create their own unique look from the collection, whether a pink strappy sequin dress, made of recycled polyester, or cutting-edge tailoring, crafted from fibres made from waste materials.

The collection has been designed using a design tool called the Circulator which allows the H&M design team to consider all stages of the garment creation process, from expected lifetime to materials and design strategies.

The Circulator is being developed by H&M Group in order to support the company in its efforts to become more circular, and to reach their goal of becoming climate positive by 2040. The aim is that all H&M products will be designed using the tool by 2025.

“I was proud to work with H&M on a collection that is so committed to circularity and positive change, while also embracing style, bold colour, great fit. It’s a really multifaceted, rich collection, and it captures a special feeling for me; the excitement and anticipation of getting ready, of choosing a look and making oneself into a star.” - Ib Kamara, Stylist and Creative Advisor

“Fashion has the power to transform, to enliven, to empower. This collection is a tribute to this, and to the special excitement that comes when you’re getting ready to go out, just before the party, styling yourself, ready to head into the night with friends, full of joy and enthusiasm.” - Ella Soccorsi, Concept Designer at H&M
