The Macallan Bravo! Series @ “Mendelssohn Violin Concerto”

The Macallan Bravo! Series continue to bring would renown musicians to Hong Kong and blend music with the delicate and complex aroma of whisky meets the seductive and sensible tunes of the violin in their next concert  “Mendelssohn Violin Concerto”. Japanese violinist Karen Gomyo will bring her unmistakable talents to Hong Kong with one of the most anticipated violin concertos with conductor Andreas Delfs debuts the Macallan Bravo! series. Partnering with the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra on the 19th & 20th of April, 2013. at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Concert Hall.

He is also a frequent partner to many prominent solo artists including Emanuel Ax, Joshua Bell, Yo Yo Ma, Midori, Itzhak Perlman, Maurizio Pollini, Mstislav Rostropovich, André Watts and Renée Fleming.  Delfs is recognized as a model for the next-generation of music directors in America and has led eminent ensembles globally over the years. This creative collaboration between The Macallan, Delfs and Gomyo has once again proven that this “Rolls Royce Amongst Malts” has brought to life not only the most precious and sought-after single malt, but also the colour of music. The Macallan has connected whisky and music harmoniously, bringing the fullest enjoyment to people with taste.
