JIMMY CHOO @ SS2013 Collection

JIMMY CHOO SS2013 collection inspired by the haute gypsy glamour of the late ‘60s and early ‘70s, drawing reference from models Marisa Berenson and Veruschka. The collection has a strong romantic expression with a modern edge. Suede, python and soft calf leather are decorated with fringe, tassels and coin charms. Chic tones of tobacco and black are highlighted by rich and vibrant shades of orchid, lime and lapis.
Free-spirited looks include DREAM, a strappy sandal in natural rock python with contrasting orchid woven ankle ties decorated with bright coloured silk tassels and coin charms, LOLA a platform sandal with ankle strap in bright floral print python and KEMBLE, a twisted strappy sandal in orchid suede and lime water snake. DAMITA, a suede ankle boot trimmed with fringe and MANOUS, a calf-height gladiator lace-up sandal boot, add a directional edge.
The colour story is expressed throughout the handbags. BIKER appears in a bright floral print python and new for SS13 the JANE top handle shoulder bag in tobacco suede or lime/lapis hand painted python. The MARCY shoulder bag is decorated with leather and silk tassels and the CHANDRA clutch is embellished with a chain and coin decorative clasp. The ROSALIE top handle bag in gloss elaphe and REBEL, a cross body box clutch in tobacco suede are key.
Evening expresses a more Deco inspired vibe. Black and gold contrast in KALPA, an ankle strap sandal made from metallic elaphe snakeskin with suede trim. FITCH, a strappy sandal provides a more romantic expression through the use of feminine sheer lace. The CASTINA framed purse features elaborate chain fringing in shades of pink and gold, while the COSMA clutch is embellished with black, gold and silver baguette crystals and CAYLA in natural cobra is decorated with brightly coloured pyramid studs.
CHOO 24:7, the ultimate shoe wardrobe, adds several new styles for SS13. GRETA, a twisted suede sandal with ankle strap in a 145mm heel, joins its lower versions JADA in a 120mm heel and Marion in a 100mm heel.
