7 For All Mankind @ SS2013 Fashion Presentation

7 For All Mankind SS2013 looks to the past in paving its way for the future. From vintage washes, to high-shine patterns, to new fits for men, it’s all about the beauty of nostalgia. Glowing with femininity and iridescence. The women’s collection offers gorgeous neutral tones denim coated with special heat transfers with extremely fine opalescent glitter. They are further embellished with classic yet edgy touches, such as pearls, gold studs and crystals. Tops with shiny details, including denim shirts and tees, take the spotlight this spring. An instant hit amongst fashion trendsetters last season, 7 For All Mankind’s iconic snake jacquard with metallic touches is introduced in a new silver and white color combination.
Spring 2013 is the season of Black & White. 7 for All Mankind has it covered, from beautiful photographic lace prints, to a shiny-coated black chino in a new slim fit. A perfect assortment with the ultimate in sophistication; a photo embellished white jean is the show-stopping piece, while a white skinny with black lace appliqué embodies 1930’s glamour.
<Vintage 7>, a new collection for men and women scouring the brand archives, the design team is bringing back the original washes from the first Denim collection from 2000. The new fits have been updated for a more contemporary approach, with a series of 27 handcrafted treatments, each taking over 20 hours to produce. 7 For All Mankind is returning to its indigo roots, with the aim of transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary. Denim and chambray shirts are particular highlights of the collection, coming in a variety of shades, shapes and fabrics.
Continuing to enhance our silhouettes and fabrics for the men’s collection, 7 For All Mankind is offering two new fits, the Brayden and the Paxtyn. The Brayden is for a fashion guy with a cool sense of style. Designed to be worn low and slouchy, it features a longer rise at the hip and is combined with a skinny leg opening. The Paxtyn is our skinniest fit from top to bottom. It sits just below the waist, is fitted through the hip and thigh and is combined with a very tapered leg opening.
Colored denim, which made a comeback last year, is living on as a key trend this spring. It has been revolutionized and now comes in a destroyed but sophisticated form. As a must-have item this season, destroyed color is offered in new Slim Cigarette and Josefina in vivid and gorgeous colors.
