A brand new dining concept AnOther Place by David Myers is designed to evoke the romance of a 1920s speakeasy combining Modern French and Asian Fine Dining for an Exceptional Social Dining Experience. mylifestylenews dropped in for a lunch menu tasting created by American Michelin-starred Chef David Myers.


Tucked away at the industrial estates in Tin Hau with a magnificent 180-degree views of Victoria Harbour setting the ambience, AnOther Place by David Myers is more like a extended private kitchen serving specially crafted menu to satisfy the hungry gourmands in town who look for a little something more that the norm dining experience. Conceptualised by renowned Hong Kong interior designer Steve Leung and lighting designer Tino Kwan, the speakeasy dining room features a clever yet chic use of space.  AnOther Place by David Myers features a retro yet chic industrial style that emulates the old school speakeasies of downtown New York. Boasting charming private spaces that together total over 2000 square feet, the dining area easily accommodates over 40 guests. Inside, the main design concept reflects the modern household, extending the warmth of home while they savour culinary delicacies. The dining room is further separated into three distinct dining spaces to suit every purpose.


Also known as The Gypsy Chef™  all of which are served on refined tableware handpicked by him. Chef Myers strive to deliver an unrivalled epicurean experience with redefines cuisine using entirely new interpretations. Chef Myers curates every last detail of his restaurants in his sage and sophisticated personal style. Travelling the world and immersing himself in diverse, colourful cultures, he vividly recreates his experiences on the plate and in his restaurants. Inspired by his travels, the specially designed menu at AnOther Place melds traditional French techniques and unique local flavours with a focus on Asia. Three discovery menus are offered, eternally changing along the culinary direction given by Chef Myers every 2 months. Menus start with a 4-course menu at HK$680, a lavish 6-course menu at HK$880, and a gourmand-friendly 8-course menu at HK$1,280. 8-course menu will be offered periodically for limited time and will focus on celebrating the most in-season ingredients around the world. AnOther Place by David Myers also adopts a “BYOB” (Bring Your Own Bottle) friendly policy. No corkage will be charged by bringing you own wine.
