BOSS SS2016 Womenswear collection is about the tailoring DNA so synonymous with BOSS is reworked and refined. Form and function, the ideals of the Bauhaus, inspire contrasting textures, plays on perspective and abstract motifs throughout the collection. The iconic white shirt is spliced with technical organza and fitted to the waist to create precision-cut dresses.
Fringing, asymmetrical detailing and raw edges soften tailored pieces in bonded crepe and Prince of Wales plaid linen suiting. Micro-pleated and cut on the bias, semi-sheer organza forms dresses in flame, cobalt and zest yellow.
The bold, Bauhaus-inspired color palette, extended seamlessly to the set of the runway show, is anchored by elegant monochrome.
The BOSS Bespoke bag also embodies the Bauhaus movement through an intricate patchwork proposal, while the marriage of softness and strength is continued in the shoes.
