Kiehl’s Ushers In The Holiday Season With A Limited Edition Collection By Pop Art Icon Peter Max

Kiehl’s is proud to name Peter Max as the official artist of the company’s 2015 holiday collection - introducing Kiehl’s x Peter Max. The whimsical design will adorn a selection of Kiehl’s most beloved formulas, including Crème de Corps, Crème de Corps Soy Milke & Honey Whipped Body Butter, Ultra Facial Cream, Calendula Herbal Extract Toner and a new collection of scented Richly Hydrating Hand Creams in Lavender, Coriander and Grapefruit.

Inspired by the art legend’s acclaimed work “The Cosmic Runner,” this season’s limited-edition packaging will impart smiles and a spirit of celebration amongst Kiehl’s customers all over the world.

Drawing from a wide range of subjects, Max captures the beauty of nature with sunsets over mountains, rolling landscapes, and puffy clouds, accented by his iconic “Holiday Flyers” that dance across the sky through his signature vibrant color palette. The bright, imaginative design which perfectly embodies Kiehl’s energetic spirit is sure to burst through traditional Holiday landscape, making for exceptionally unique and joyful holiday gifts.

Kiehl’s partnership with Peter Max builds upon Kiehl’s long-standing heritage of working with the artist community. Each year, in honor of the Holiday season, Kiehl’s works with a different artist to design a special limited-edition collection.  Previous holiday collaborations have included artists such as Jeff Koons, Kenny Scharf, Eric Haze and Craig & Karl. This holiday season, Kiehl’s is thrilled to be continuing this heritage through an unpresented partnership with Peter Max - one of the world’s most celebrated living artists.

“It was a magical and inspiring experience working with Peter Max, as we as a company have such a deep admiration for him as an artist,” stated Maria Gustafson, Senior Vice President, Global Creative for Kiehl’s Since 1851. “Kiehl’s shares many of the same ideals that are celebrated in Peter’s work - love, joy, community, and environmentalism. In addition to our packaging, we are translating his design into our windows, in-store merchandising, and gift box sets which will provide our customers with an experience that evokes Peter Max’s vision of holiday in a uniquely Kiehl’s way.”
