This Spring 2012, Longchamp is taking another fashionable step forward with the debut of its first complete shoe collection and getting ready to step into summer. The inspiration comes from the season's star bags, the collection links each shoe design to a leather goods line by its details, colours and materials. A flat sandal in black or natural calf leather which fastens around the ankle with a wide velcro strap.
A high-heeled sandal with distinctive cross straps in two dazzling colour combinations of gold/honey/red and gold/turquoise/green. From ballet flats to high-heeled pumps, Longchamp addicts will be able to enrich their wardrobe with an enticing array of styles reflecting the key themes of the season. The <Exotic theme> featuring designs in python-styled calfskin in a palette of mocha and beige – the same leather as the new Reptiligne line of bags and the <Urban theme> comes with a selection of sophisticated styles in supple calf leather.
A wedge sandal with a heel covered in reptile-styled leather and a slender crossed ankle strap. The <Summer theme> running with the season's ultra-flat trend, with the Gatsby bag's signature square clasp as a distinctive detail. A peep-toe sling-back pump in velvety suede calf leather with a ridged finish in citron or red, coordinating with the Gatsby Velours leather goods line finishes the <Evening theme> completing the collection with an elegant, glamorous flourish.
