On Pedder held an exciting celebration of the Pedderzines with a pop up artspace at On Lan Street, Central and in a creative tour-de-force spanning multiple On Pedder venues. On Pedder presents Exhibitionist: Pedderzine Uncatalogued.
The culmination of 10 previous issues, the 11th edition of the Pedderzine - Exhibitionist - explores the creative world of On Pedder and its seasonal edits over the past five years. Since its inception, Pedderzine has continued to deliver thought provoking imagery that is epitomizing the irreverence central to the On Pedder identity. Pedderzine’s adherence to artistic collaboration remains constant, exploring our sensory natures through prominent visual editorial partnerships and photography.

Exhibitionist invites the viewer through a highly curated succinct collection of the most captivating images and scenes from the publication’s archives. As one of the leading creative directors, Pedderzine have Theseus Chan as artistic director producing provocative and relevant editorials, issue after issue.To bring the Pedderzine archives to life, On Pedder presents an exhilarating pop up artspace at On Lan Street, curated by local stalwart - Shin Wong, wrapped inside an enigmatic box. On Pedder has invited Hong Kong’s own fantastic power-duo video artists – Yamanyamo, to explore the magazine’s deeply conceptual roots through an innovative new media artwork.

  
  

Pedderzine was founded in 2007 to showcase the best edits of the season; it is the brand ambassador and penultimate style guide for On Pedder. It is the manifestation of the brand in a literal, visually dynamic and tangible sense and continues to be an extension of On Pedder’s commitment to aesthetics. Each issue meticulously highlights and interprets the various themes of the season through unique personalized editorials.
 
 
 Pedderzine is neither catalogue, magazine, nor artbook but rather an amalgamation of all three. At the helm is critically hailed, Theseus Chan, a man who curates beautiful reductions of the seasons must haves through a variety of mediums and handmade elements.Past collaborations include renowned British photographer Simon Larbalestier, Singapore’s John Clang, and more recently Keiichi Tanaami – whose witty designs and eclectic coloured drawings graced the last issue. Attention to detail is paramount in both the striking collections and the crafting of the publication as the driving force behind Pedderzine’s success.

 In additional to the exhibition, the Queen’s Road Central window of Joyce - synonymous with the most radical of visual merchandising - sets the stage to showcase the treasure trove at On Pedder. Extending to the On Pedder store on the first floor, where viewers will be met with a brilliant cascading flow of Pedderzines dispersed between the latest fall winter fashion statement pieces. Designed for the occasion, special limited edition tote bags will be for sale exclusively at all On Pedder stores and On Lan pop up artspace. Exhibition ends 3rd October 2012.
