Marimekko AW2017/18 Collection celebrates Finnish creativity and the cultural heritage that has built the foundation for Finnish living. Being true to its roots, the design house continues to honour its home country’s uniqueness and bold visual culture, and celebrates the 100th anniversary of Finland’s independence.



The collection is inspired by Finnish art, architecture, folklore and the mysticism of national epic Kalevala, and how the influence of Finnish nature can be seen in the country’s culture overall.Being true to its design philosophy.


Marimekko introduces ready-to-wear and accessories for the beautiful everyday designed for life.



Marimekko’s classic crepe dress, shirt and coat are designed with versatility in this collection, to provide women with fashionable yet comfortable look.



Turning sounds from surrounding into abstract and playful patterns, the collection displays the uniqueness of Finnish artistic style.


Echoing with theme of “Design of life” in this season, prints in practical black, white and brown colors (Classic Unikko, Aita (Stripe) and Sheeba (Leopard)) are used to light up the whole collection.


Eye-catching rose patterns insert vividness and joy in this dull fall winter season.


Veljekset print is created to celebrate 100th Anniversary of Finland’s Independence. Inspired by Finnish folk tales, this design depicts the harmonious life of three strong and expressive brothers- lynx, bear and owl, in the Finnish Forest.
