HOTEL MUSE @ A Beguiling Oasis In The City Of Angels

With more MGallery’s exclusive collection and new hotels growing in new destinations around the globe that offers new ways to experience the contemporary vision of an unexpected welcome especially from its design perspective, Hotel Muse Bangkok is one of the additions to the collection. mylifestylenews writes.

When you enter a MGallery hotel, either from the greatest cities to far-flung spots deep in the heart of nature, it is always there to discover a new vision of enchanting travel. Graciously combining thoughtful indulgence, inventive contemporary design, and an intriguing sense of history, every MGallery hotel is created to take you on a captivating voyage of beguiling discovery. Hence, it is a way to experience their new vision of luxury and adventure and prepare to be enchanted.

Inspired by the social and artistic milieu of fin de siècle Europe and King Rama V-era Thailand, Hotel Muse dishes out lashings of style with plenty of atmosphere. The luxurious with the basic and the traditional with the quirky, majestic ceilings and staircases, valuable furniture, dim lights, comfortable sofas and armchairs takes you on an elegant journey back to the golden age of Siam at the end of the 19th century, combining the cosmopolitan chic with playful elegance, amid a new golden age of Asia travel between East and West and the most opulent of art and design.

There is an air of tranquility here on Langsuan Road - the city’s most desirable residential districts which is off the main traffic along the BTS line Ploenchit Road. When the main entrance door is pushed, you will enter to a lobby of white marble, walls of muted calming tones and historic monochrome photos. To the left is the Le Salon bar and lounge where you’ll find your thoughts roaming to all manner of indulgences past and present, while enjoying one of the many signature cocktails created by the team.

Take a right and you will enter another foyer where you do your check in with the front desk staff sitting behind those English designed work desks. If you make a right and head downstairs, it will take you to the hotel’s Italian restaurant, Medici Kitchen & Bar where modern contemporary Mediterranean cuisine is served.

The Conceptualize designed Foyer & Reception

Every floor hallway is decorated with designed photo frames to identify different flooring.

We were assigned to the 390sqf Jatu Deluxe room and this appointed room out of the 88 in total comes with king-size bed exuding an interplay of colonial influence offset by a Thai twist juxtaposed against ornate motifs with advanced technological amenities.

The room is spacious and the elegant bathroom feature free-standing roll-top bathtub and separate shower.

The slim lengthy recreational infinity pool may not be ideal for doing laps but the view overlooking the city center from the 19th floor would be another way to give yourself some space to relax after returning from either business or your shopping rehab and enjoy the water and sights.

Breakfast is served in Babette’s where Steaks and fine wines are offered by night in this intimate 1920’s Chicago style Steak House that created a sultry ambience to recall an era of glitz and glamour through a pleasing palette of muted tones with inviting leather armchairs, intriguing period décor and artwork. It is not only offering a panoramic views across a glittering cityscape, but also add to the allure of this sophisticated venue.

Occidental, Oriental and all things design with art and style, Hotel Muse brings to Bangkok a heretofore hedonistic experience for its conceptual elements that reflects a theme of fanciful indulgence into a beguiling mélange of timeless sophistication and unequivocal modernity.
