FENDI re-opens its boutique in The Landmark in mid-August, followed by a grand opening
ceremony in October. True to the spirit of the brand, in constant balance
between tradition and innovation, FENDI’s 4,000-square-feet-plus new flagship
in Hong Kong spanning three floors represents a harmonious dialogue between the
brand’s Roman heritage and the modernity of avant-garde design and art. In tribute to the
independence, strength and femininity of the FENDI family expressed through a
unique choice of materials and objects. The Landmark
boutique also features the first MTO
(Made-to-Order) area, allowing
clients to personalize their own choices of bag. In celebration of the opening of the Landmark boutique, FENDI is
launching an exclusive collection in limited quantities, including the iconic
Peekaboo bags, women’s fur creations, men’s leather jackets, Crazy Carats limited edition fur
watches and a special edition Bag Bug fur charm. The jacket (Above) is designed in lynx fur, the most precious material handled
by FENDI. It is prized for an extraordinarily soft hand and vibrant color, worn
with croc belt to further flatter the feminine figure. The silhouette is highly
calibrated to mimic a shawl at the back, which can be turned up to form a
stylish hooded jacket another testimony to the exceptional savoir faire of the house.
Two exotic sable overcoats are assembled with vertical and
horizontal seaming respectively to create two different styles: the long
overcoat with vertical seams and unique collar design is paired with croc belt
for a slender silhouette; while the short peacoat features 3/4 sleeves and
rounded silhouette for a younger look.
The Limited Edition Peekaboo exclusively for The Landmark store continues to build round the
sophisticated and elegant style of the collection as a tribute to the unrivaled
Italian craftsmanship. The design adheres to the Dualism at the heart of FENDI’s DNA, representing a
dialogue between traditional Italian craftsmanship and creative expression. The limited edition family are characterized by vivid colors and the
combination of precious crocodile and quality calfskin, proposing a stark
contrast of textures and hues using FENDI’s iconic color blocking codes. The
result is a playful balance between luxury and practicality; luxury and
fashion.
A numbered metal plaque embossed with “Hong Kong Special Edition” is sewn on
the inside of each bag. The croc & calf Peekaboo is produced in limited
quantities of eight worldwide, truly an ultimate collectible for fans. A pioneer in
fur design, FENDI offers limited
edition fur creations in The Landmark store. Six styles in diverse exotic
materials are featured for different moods and personalities.
The limited edition Crazy Carats watch is a mosaic of colors using FENDI’s most iconic fur art to adorn the
croc leather strap with color blocking mink. This whimsical watch features a
creamy or black dial against which gemstone indices are set. A luxurious and
modern expression of individuality to be worn from dawn to dusk, Crazy Carats
lends itself to matching a woman’s emotions and moods simply by twisting the
crown to change the color of the gemstones (sapphire, pink jadeite and diamond)
on the dial.
