Moncler Relocation @ Hong Kong ifc Mall

Only two years after the opening of the first flagship store in Greater China, the Moncler boutique is moving to a bigger location in Hong Kong ifc Mall and held a cocktail event recently. This relocation strengthens the brand’s presence in Hong Kong, where there are already four single-brand Moncler boutiques: at Lee Garden II and Sogo in Causeway Bay, at Harbour City in Kowloon and Hong Kong International Airport.

The design of the boutique’s interiors has been entrusted to the Gilles & Boissier architectural firm, which handles the design of Moncler’s retail network. The boutique, of approximately 250 sqm, over double the size of the previous one, has chene fume’ wooden floor and boiserie which combine to perfect effect with the extra-clear glass and black patina metal display cabinets. The new boutique conveys a warm and inviting atmosphere in pure haute montagne Moncler style.

All the Moncler, Moncler Gamme Rouge, Moncler Gamme Bleu and Moncler Grenoble men’s and women’s clothing and accessories lines, together with the Moncler Enfants and Moncler Lunettes collections will be available at the new boutique.

To celebrate the relocation of the Moncler flagship store in Hong Kong ifc Mall and the Christmas festivity, Moncler creates the “Golden Ice” window and internal display. Inspired by Skeleton, the fast winter sliding sport, golden sleds are set on pristine white ice slopes and are rode by mannequins wearing the Moncler Grenoble FW2014 outfits, the collection that goes back to the brand heritage, of alpine sports, mountain tradition and sixties’ charm.

The creativity of the display is also rooted in the Moncler DNA that matches technical excellence with aesthetic appeal, with a strong emphasis on innovation. The golden element is a reference to the exlusive positioning of brand, as the ice is to the environment and the speed of Skeleton to modernism. The “Golden Ice” Christmas display is a worldwide preview, exclusively for the Moncler ifc Mall relocation.
