A.T by Atsuro Tayama FW2012 Vintage Mode collection inspired by periods between 1900 and 1940, which incorporates the style of motorcyclists from the 1930’s, military jackets, Art Deco-style prints and details from elegant dresses of the 1920’s and 30’s.  The <Black Biker & Black Military> inspired by the style of motorcyclists from the 1930’s; blouson with high-stand collars, rider's jacket, jodhpurs and skinny leather trousers. There is also a jacket inspired by a military officer's jacket. The garments are adorned with playful details such as motifs made of studs on square leather, tape with stitching, fur, large fasteners in red and yellow, and buckles.
The <Checks of Colourful Tapes> collection features colourful tapes, graphic patterns are created by applying various colours of tapes in curves to create a pattern or by applying them in straight lines to create a large checkered pattern. Attention is also given to technique as can be seen in a single layer dress, which appear layered. The feature of this season is coats with rounded drop-shoulders. The season also sees the appearance of fur waistcoats and pullovers in various colours; red, yellow, purple, blue and bicolour.
 
 
The <Graphic Patchwork> patterns are created by applying tapes in straight or curved lines. 3-demensional checkered patterns are created by weaving the tapes.The <Warm White> is a collection of warm and comfy outerwear made of contrasting materials; cape in down-filled textile and knit, rider’s jacket in mutton fur and leather and cocoon coat in leather and fur. The collection features silhouettes with prominent collars such as down-filled stand collars and large fur collars.
