Cath Kidston Opens First Flagship Store in Hong Kong

Cath Kidston, renowned lifestyle brand since 1993 opened its first flagship store in Hong Kong recently. Located on Hysan Avenue, Causeway Bay, Cath Kidston features the classic brand décor executed by designers from England. The over 1,000 square-feet flagship store reveals the authentic English charm, with their exquisite vintage pieces which will certainly appeal to the chic ones.
This home of modern vintage impresses customers with the fascinating floral prints that remind them of their carefree childhood. The nice contrast of the signature baby blue and white subtlety highlights the classic furniture and vintage lighting carefully selected and shipped directly from England. The print-to-order digital wallpaper custom-made locally also further accentuates and modernizes the amicable style of an English home.

In 1993, aged 34 and with just £15,000, Cath Kidston opened her first namesake shop in Holland Park, London and began selling vintage fabrics, wallpapers and brightly-painted junk furniture inspired by her fond childhood memories. Soon Cath began to design her own prints and products, and one of the first was a practical, quirky printed ironing board cover with a distinctive floral print that has come to epitomise the signature Cath Kidston look.

Her clever, witty re-working of classic English style and her love of all things vintage meant that her shop soon became a cult success. With over 80 stores all over the world, including Japan, Korea, Thailand, Taiwan and England, Cath presents contemporary home accessories, womenswear, kidswear and accessories that combine her English heritage with a sense of nostalgia and fun.
