Tiffany & Co. Opens New Store @ Times Square Hong Kong

Tiffany & Co. opens its new 3,800-square-foot store in Hong Kong’s Times Square recently. Tiffany architects and interior designers utilized archival motifs to create a welcoming store environment. The glass façade is illuminated with Tiffany Blue and the windows are crisply etched with the wheat leaf design that frames the entrance of the Fifth Avenue flagship store. In addition, the stainless steel entry doors and center medallion feature the Art Deco-inspired fluting detail that embellishes the entrance of the New York City flagship. The fluting accents the store’s brushed stainless steel showcases, as well. Other interior details include wall coverings, lacquer panels and glass vitrines hand painted with lush magnolias and captivating dragonflies from the acclaimed stained glass works of Art Nouveau designer Louis Comfort Tiffany, son of the company’s founder. In addition, furnishings are designed in a palette of blues, including Tiffany Blue and silver. Textiles were selected for their expressive quality silks have a high sheen, velvets are rich and tactile and cerused hardwoods gleam with silver leaf.
