STUART WEITZMAN @ FW2014 Collection

STUART WEITZMAN FW2014 collection is a season of reimagining: a “reboot” of sorts, both literally and figuratively, built on the brand’s iconic silhouettes and what women love. Boots, of course, take center stage, each meticulously handcrafted with expert precision, as is intrinsic to the Stuart Weitzman DNA.

Elegant evolutions of both the 5050 and the HIGHLAND are central to the collection, and classic styles beyond boots are reinvented via ultra-luxe finishes and textures, such as croc-stamped nappa, lush hair calf, supple suede and infusions of intricate lace and elegant embellishments. The over-the-knee boot maintained its reign on the runways, and our chic range of options will satisfy an extensive variety of personal styles.

Cut tall and slim and with a nod to Mod, the HIJACK and FIFO echo the distinctive 5050 boot by way of their signature stretch back. Perched atop a substantial stacked heel, the HIJACK is at once seductive and insouciant, while the FIFO, with its wide block heel, makes a distinct style statement in opulent patent leather. The popular stretch suede HIGHLAND is reinvented in the form of the LOWLAND - a flat, yet undeniably seductive thigh-high option.

The bootie remains a wardrobe essential, but there’s nothing basic about these new designs. Crafted from sumptuous pony, the HITIMES with its pointed toe and sexy stiletto heel is the chicest choice for fashion-forward femme-fatales. Meanwhile, the WINZIPPER hearkens back to an early Beatles-era Mod aesthetic with its sleek shape and bold block heel, just as the SCAFFOLD imparts a refreshing spin on the traditional riding silhouette with its metallic-tipped block heel likewise an haute homage to the unapologetically bold lines characteristic of the 60s.

Boot camp marches on with military precision, a trend that’s clearly on the front lines for fall. Lug soles, metallic hardware and officer-inspired lace-ups are a recurring motif. Rows of bold buckles on the rugged JITTERBUG capture the flair of the urban fashion warrior, whereas the over-the-knee SOLDIER flirts with femininity atop a sexy stacked heel. The trend extends into the winter trenches with the BOBSLED - an ultra-luxe combat boot crafted in hair calf and finished with cozy shearling trim. A little bit country is balanced by a little bit rock and roll with the TROTTER contrasting metallic buckles accentuate the monk-strap styling, revving it to the height of edgy elegance.
