HUNTER @ FW2014/15 Original Ad Campaign

HUNTER FW2014/15 Hunter Original campaign is the first campaign for the Hunter Original category, which was launched with an innovative runway show at London Fashion Week in February. The campaign draws on points of reference taken from the brand’s DNA, presented in the spirit of Hunter Original: a cast of animals, a company of new establishment models, and an arresting landscape, braving the elements in the new icons of the autumn/winter 2014 collection. A behind-the-scenes film will be released to accompany the launch of the campaign. Creative Director Alasdhair Willis worked with three photographers to create a series of layered images. SS2014 campaign photographer, Viviane Sassen, shot the cast of models in a London studio. The mountainous background and sky were taken by two specialist landscape photographers on location on the Isle of Skye, Scotland. The backdrop of the Scottish highlands is washed in Hunter red, synonymous with the iconic logo of the Original boot. Capturing the energy and youthful vibrancy of the Hunter Original category, the models run and dance across the landscape together with animals that are icons of the British countryside. Storm clouds gathering in the sky and a waterlogged terrain symbolise protection from the weather and waterproofing, intrinsic to the brand’s DNA and design ethos. “I wanted to deliver a campaign that expresses the energy of the new Hunter Original category,” said Alasdhair Willis. “I wanted to do this while simultaneously remaining true to all the traditional touch points of the brand: the great British landscape, the challenges of extreme weather and journeys of discovery - all explored through a fresh, relevant and modestly humorous creative treatment.” Hunter Original is at the heart of the Hunter brand and is the home of the iconic Original boot and the world that surrounds it. The images feature footwear, ready-to-wear, and accessories from the Hunter Original autumn/winter 2014 collection, including the Original High Heel, Original Chelsea, Original Poncho and Original Rubber Bomber Jacket.
