CARRERA @ 2013 Eyewear Collection

CARRERA 2013 eyewear collection returns to its origins to rediscover a “racing attitude” that is deeply rooted in its DNA: the new collections of sunglasses and optical frames reflect the brand’s stylistic heritage, through strong themes of the past, revisited with a contemporary flair and embellished with new distinctive details, for a unique, timeless style. Four different design philosophies mark the 2013 eyewear models, reflecting the brand’s original identity.
<CARRERA CRAZE> New contemporary trends in line with the latest fashion trends, these models have a young, feminine allure, revisited with Carrera’s ever-present distinctive details. The CARRERA 5001 sunglasses have a large shape and a vintage yet modern personality, highlighted by bright colours, such as orange, aqua green and pink, and enlivened by the all over “Victory C® Logo” on the inside of the temples. The CA5500 large acetate optical frame features an eye-catching interplay of contrasting colours, in tones of blue, Havana/brown, charcoal grey and grey/green, highlighting the bold metal effects on the temples.
The CARRERA 80 metal sunglasses epitomize the brand’s racing spirit, with their teardrop shape, combined with interchangeable polarized lenses, for high-quality vision in any light condition. The “Victory C® Logo” visible on the front is an unmistakable signature detail and a new symbol of the brand’s timeless.
The unstoppable success of the brand’s iconic models, such as CARRERA 6000, just keeps going: now presented in exciting new colours, such as cream front with gold mirrored lenses and transparent grey with green mirrored lenses.
The CARRERA 6002 model in hand-finished acetate features a square shape with softly rounded edges reinterpreted with distinctive details, such as the metal bridge on the front, Carrera 6000’s typical and unique wavy temples and definite hues of black, mud/blue, khaki, brown and grey/burgundy, combined with cutting-edge mirrored lenses.
