Andrea Bocelli @《Passione》

<Passione> marks the 14th studio recording album for Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli. This latest releases features a selection nostalgia yet sunny selection romantic Mediterranean love songs produced by David Foster in a smooth delivery. It is safe and yet without any further surprises with the way Bocelli perform it, there are several duets including tracks with Jennifer Loepz in < Quizas, Quizas,Quizas> which turned out to be quite incompatible and trying to outshine each other, way beyond what Frank Sinatra's performance could imagine. <Perfridia> and <Roma Nun Fa' la Stupida Stasera> are no doubt one of the most romantic tracks ever in the past decades and Bocelli's relaxed tone and manner belying in such soft, light and tender notes from his classical style. Others duets with Nelly Furtado and a special duet with the late Edith Piaf in her signature song <La Vie en Rose> are rather ill-conceived and yet without much sparks. The album was recorded in his home in Tuscany and Bocelli serenades us with his language talent performing in six different languages. Hence, many of the instrument from the orchestra have minted to suit Bocelli's vocals.
