Kiehl’s Cilantro & Orange Extract Pollutant Defending Masque defends and replenishes skin to reduce the visible effects of pollution while helping to prevent impurities from adhering to skin. It is a protective, treatment facial masque that features 3 levels of protection and treatment against the damaging effects of pollution on skin. Formulated with Orange Extract (Neohesperidin DC), obtained from the dried young fruit of the Citrus Aurantium (Bitter Orange) and cultivated and sourced from the Mediterranean, South and Central America, this strong antioxidant and powerful Bioflavonoid offers the formula multiple pollution fighting benefits. Known for its ability to protect skin from UV-induced lipid peroxidation and oxidative stress  Known to stimulate the production of essential skin barrier proteins such as filaggrin and transglutaminase. In this 2-week trial, where subjects applied Cilantro & Orange Extract Pollutant Defending Masque daily for 2 weeks, +34.9% more anti-oxidant protection from UVA-induced oxidation vs the untreated area was demonstrated.
