Harvey Nichols @ AW2013 Hong Kong Fashion Show

Harvey Nichols held a glamorous AW2013 fashion show on a long stage with paralleled projected roping extended from the tall ceiling illustrated a secluded and optically illusive show space at Pacific Place Mall recently. The dynamic and illuminated stage with models showcasing the new collections with an intriguing presentation which drew attention to the collections. The show featured over 46 looks presented by 20 models with 4 key and distinctive trends, finishing on a high note of glamorous black-tie looks.
<Nouvogue 50's> We saw new interpretations of classic silhouettes from Lanvin, Nina Ricci, Viktor & Rolf, Carven and JET 8 S.T.Dupont PARIS. Nostalgic cuttings updated with appliques and prints indicated a romantic season ahead.
<Punk Grunge> Punk is backed in fashion. From tartan, studs to graffiti and animal prints, the trend was revived with a modern take. Models geared up in Francesco Scognamiglio, Herve Leger, Versus, Pierre Balmain and Chistopher Kane. It was a high octane display of black leather, cut-outs, gold hardware and killer heels from Giuseppa Zanotti.
<Floral Vintage>The show then progressed to a dreamy sea of florals which took the guests onto the next theme. From lifelike flowery prints, new paisleys to antiquated muted tones, this lively bouquet was spellbinding. Renowned names such as Jonathan Saunders, Piccione Piccione, Antonio Marras and Paul Smith embodied the trend in full bloom. 
<Evening> Mesmerising eveningwear in all kinds of silhouettes possible  from mermaid, a-line, ballgown to sheath – showcased the variety that Harvey Nichols represents. This collection of Collette Dinnigan, Monique Lhuillier, Marchesa, Carolina Herrera, Moschino and Krisnanassche eveningwear brought princes and princesses to life.
