Sugar at East Hotel has come up with another reason why you should head to their roof top bar for a great lunch with views to match. They are now offering a Japanese-style Bento Box with a selection of green salad leaves, potato salad, grilled prawns with Soba noodles and Wagyu hangar steak sliced fillet with wilted spinach, plus a dipping sauce and finishes with a refreshing homemade ice cream of your choice.
The quality and ingredients used are well worth the price and it was delicious and well prepared. Our particular favourites were the prawns and the Wagyu steak, as these are high value items and were cooked to perfection, they are that good. The salads were a great accompaniment to cleanse the palate in between each distinctly different flavor, plus it keeps the healthy eating quotient up as well for those of you that want a balanced diet despite it was a little over seasoned with salt. To top it all off, you have a choice of green tea or vanilla ice cream to satisfy those sweet cravings after your bento box. Each ice cream delivered exactly the right balance of flavour with a delicious creamy texture. Signature cocktails includes Majoramy, Passionate Dragon, Plummy Park, Organic Fizz, Skaura Spritzer and more. We opted for We opted for a jug of Sangria, with blazing sunshine and blue sky to create some great views over our slow lunch.
