Strategically located in the artistic Wan Chai district, the pop-up store offers an evolved shopping experience that is unique to any of the Club Monaco stores globally.
This new men’s pop-up shop draws inspiration from the two new men’s “shop-in-shop” style retail environments at the company’s Toronto and New York flagship stores. The Hong Kong Wan Chai shop will have a “best of the best” product assortment including exclusive Club Monaco “Made in the USA” styles, in-line menswear products and unique third party accessories. "This new store in St. Francis Yard is the natural evolution of menswear at Club Monaco in terms of both product and concept,” says Club Monaco Vice President of Men’s Design, Aaron Levine. “The space is small but concentrated with our own product and merchandise from some of our favorite makers from all over the world. What makes it even more thrilling for us is fact that the shop happens to be in Hong Kong, a place where a great number of stylish people will get a chance to experience these heady days of Club Monaco menswear first hand."
“Made in the USA” launched in November 2011 as a partnership with Michael Williams, the founder of prominent men’s blog A Continuous Lean. It includes a limited edition line of suiting, shirts, ties, outerwear and denim, all of which are sourced, designed, washed and fit in the United States.
The pop-up store, a modest 600 square feet, will have a two-phase opening – with the first 400 feet set to open its doors in September 2012, while the remaining 200 feet will follow in December. The men’s only store in Wan Chai is the first step within a larger plan to roll out the brand’s new concept throughout China and Asia.
