Ermenegildo Zegna Celebrates The 50th Edition of The Ermenegildo Zegna Wool Trophies

Ermenegildo Zegna, celebrates the 50th Edition of the Ermenegildo Zegna Wool Trophies held at the historic Royal Hall of Industries, Moore Park Australia. The unveiling of an installation with multimedia projections, the longest men’s fashion show in Australia featuring more than 60 male models outfitted in the FW2013 collection and the presentation of the “Australian Celebration Collection”, a capsule dedicated to celebrate Zegna’s golden relationship with Australia. 
On this occasion Gildo Zegna, CEO of the Ermenegildo Zegna Group and Paolo Zegna, Chairman, announced the winner of the 50th Edition Ermenegildo Zegna Wool Award for Superfine Wool and the winner of the prestigious Vellus Aureum Trophy, both won by Ed & Jill Hundy of Windradeen. Following was a grand party where local DJs Alex Dimitriades and Robyn Lawley set the mood in anticipation for the main act, international Australian Indie-Pop band the Temper Trap who played a selection of hits from their recent albums. ong-Kong based actor and singer Leon Lai chose Look 33 from the AW13 Runway Collection comprising of a Zegna Silk 2-piece suit, shirt, and tie and matching pochette all by Ermenegildo Zegna.
Chris Hemsworth wore an Ermenegildo Zegna three piece suit ensembles from the ‘Australian Celebration Collection’ featuring the pied-de-poule fabric from Australian wool produced by Lanificio in the 60s and currently re-interpreted in Trofeo Natural Comfort.  His tie and pochette are made from printed fabrics inspired by aboriginal “dot art” paintings, realized by artist Dorothy Napangardi; a tribute to the Australian aboriginal culture.\
Korean Actor, Daniel Henney chose a Wool double breasted suit, shirt and pochette from the AW13 Runway Collection all by Ermenegildo Zegna.
