Tod’s is pleased to announce the launch of its new Tod’s Signature Collection, a range of luxury leather goods that celebrates the famous gommino pattern of the house, with Anne Hathaway as spoke person. The inspiration came after years of research on the treatment of leather, Tod’s decided to create a decorative effect that could be applied to leather to give a rich, invitingly tactile quality to special designs.
The result is the Tod’s Signature Collection, a range of bags and small leather goods where the pebble motif has been rendered in the leather to give a distinctive signature to the pieces, invoking the Made in Italy craftsmanship that lies at the heart of the Tod’s philosophy. The models of the Tod’s Signature Collection include a shoulder bag, a portfolio clutch, a small trunk style, a shopper, a soft envelope clutch and a pochette bag in very soft patent leather, a metalized leather, a shiny calfskin and a semi-opaque nappa leather.The colour palette ranges from strong, decisive tones of deep red, black, electric blue, fuchsia and violet, to softer shades of lavender, beige and cream.
The launch will be at The Landmark Atrium on 20th October 2011 and exhibition ends 23th October 2011. Have a date marked and see you there!
