CHAUMET Creating watches for 200 years @ Watch Exhibition In Paris

To celebrate 200 years in creating exceptional timepieces, CHAUMET, the renowned Parisian Jewellery House officially kicked off a prestigious 3 week exhibition on July 6th, 2011 at the salons of the Musee Chaumet at 12, Place Vendome in Paris following the exhibition in Hong Kong. This was followed by an evening gala at the CHAUMET boutique. The exhibition showcases around thirty specially selected pieces, each recalling highlights in watch-making history; from the French “Premier Empire” period up until the 1990’s. Most of the exhibits are brought in from the CHAUMET Museum in France. During the exhibition, visitors will have the opportunity to view these genuine works of art that have never before been revealed to the public.

Over the ages, CHAUMET has established a portfolio of discerning clients including historic figures such as Napoleon, Duke de Luynes, the Russian Prince Michel Kotchoubey and Adolphe Thiers. For this travelling exhibition and the exquisite works of art have now returned to Chaumet’s birthplace of Paris at the salons of the Musee Chaumet at 12, Place Vendome.
