VICTORINOX Apparel SS2016 Urban To Outdoor collection is an absolute embodiment of adventure and adaptability. The design focus around the constant duality of navigating both the urban rush and the rural excursion to give a high level of versatility to the wearer. Trying back to the multifunctional brand identity, the design team drew inspiration from the classic Ranger Swiss Army knife, which features over 20 implements to prepare you for all your everyday day adventures. From the city to the mountain trails, the SS2016 collection is conceived to give you unsurpassable adaptability, no matter where their journey takes them.

As part of our continued emphasis on material innovation, the brand have partnered with 37.5™ fabrications. Known for their technological properties, 37.5™ fabrics work to maintain the relative humidity surrounding the body, ensuring the wearer maintains an ideal core temperature. This technology is used as the base for the SS2016 Limited Edition collection. 

Each piece was purposely crafted to give the wearer superior comfort and true functionality. Together, the components of this capsule create our Layering / Delayering System. The capsule features outerwear (Ranger Zip Blouson and Reversible Bomber) to underpinnings (the Recon Tee and the Vanguard Henley) and everything in between. The notion of Ranger is further implied through the use of a vintage Swisstopo© map print, which depicts the mountainous area of central Switzerland around Ibach, the home of Victorinox.

The mainline of the collection offers a wide variety of styles to fit with the urban to outdoor lifestyle. Continuing with the ingenious engineered snap-in layering ‘Modular Liner System’ offers the Matterhorn Vest in two new seasonal colors. The vest will snap into any modular ready garment from FW2015, and the updated Highlander VI Jacket and Lenzburg II Hooded Mackintosh from SS2016. Focusing on the strength of thier knit program and launch the new infantry vintage group including the Soldat Crewneck and Fourier Full Zip as well as the expansion of our ath-leisure collection with Urbanite Pullover and Minutoli Trousers.

Introducing additional materials into the collection, carbon cotton (Bergman Blouson and Unstructured Jacket) and resin coated cotton (VX Bomber and Highlander VI Jacket) play a role in our outerwear program. These materials offer a natural fabrication for breathability and hand feel while coatings offer water resistance. Rounding out the collection are strong statement polos and tees. 

Many of the new graphic tees feature hand drawn artwork inspired by the history of Victorinox and fashioned in super soft cotton. Continuing novelty prints into the mainline, we have created a custom dot matrix camouflage used primarily in the woven shirt and tee programs.

KENZO SS2016 Snowbird Ad Campaign

 KENZO SS2016 ad campaign presents a new film by the acclaimed writer/director, Sean Baker entitled <Snowbird> featuring the SS2016 collection from Creative Directors Humberto and Carol Lim.

<Snowbird> stars abbey Lee in her latest role since appearing in the blockbuster <Mad Max: Fury Road> where lee plays "Young Theo", a young woman living in a remote desert community.

Sean Baker wrote and directed this original short for KENZO and shot the film entirely on iphone.

Café Hong Kong @ Rekindle Dim Sum Memories of Yesteryear

Finding a all day dining Dim Sum in Hong Kong is quite unusual especially when you are craving some. Central are known for one of its most exquisite dining districts in Hong Kong, by finding a Dim Sum especially in SoHo neighborhood that serves a la minute Dim Sum is rather a blessing indeed. With the philosophy of “rekindle the memories of yesterday”, Café Hong Kong celebrates its official opening recently.

The nostalgic slice of old Hong Kong “bing sutt” (coffee shop) on 15 Hollywood Road, Central strives to restore the city’s lost charm and spark the continuation of the 1960s/70s-era tradition and delivers a traditionally classic Hong Kong "chaa chaan teng” menu while taking a trip down memory lane and bask in the sweet memories of old Hong Kong.



Designed by Hands Hospitality, Café Hong Kong sports a vintage-meets-modern décor, this nostalgically recalled a retro 60s “bing sutt” juxtaposed against a contemporary silhouette. Dark wood furnishings exude a typical rustic “chaa chan teng” vibe. The spacious interior adorned with mood lighting sets the tone for a relaxing dining experience. Look around to find vestiges of local Hong Kong culture: antique radios and vintage posters; good old tunes of the yesteryear's music played in the air.



MSG-free cooking promotes a higher level of “bing sutt” fast food spirit of “efficient servers, good food and great value” in Cafe Hong Kong yet during our second visit, the service really brought it down to a regular "chaa chan teng" standard to no different. With unwilling attitudes towards to the service and reluctant to bring on the additional orders was a big turn down.



Assorted Dim Sum like Steamed Shrimp Dumplings and Pork Dumplings is always a must order when you are going for "Yum Cha". Quality was assured they turned out to the table quite palatable and enjoyable.



US grain-fed pork chop, Thai jasmine rice, farm fresh egg, tomato, onion, mushroom, vanilla and mozzarella cheese are used in this Portuguese influenced <Baked Pork Chop Rice with Cheese>. Handpicked Thai jasmine rice is boiled with a small dose of lard before sautéed until it gives a heady aroma.



Eggs are then added to coat the rice in golden yellow color. Blanketing the rice are finely marbled boned US grain-fed pork chops seared to tender and homemade tomato sauce made with pork, tomato, onion, mushroom, vanilla and gravy. A generous sprinkle of mozzarella cheese on top and in the oven it goes. Each scoop is a scrumptiously flavoursome.



A signature glass of Café Style Ice Milk Tea can be seen at almost every table.



Six <Traditional Steamed Rice Pot> recipes are specially designed by Café Hong Kong. The rice pot is divided into two layers: main dish on top and rice at the bottom for your convenience and a neater presentation. When steamed, the flavourful meat juice drips from the top layer down to the rice at the bottom through the little holes in between. Top quality ingredients from reputable brand names are selected, including the premium Wing Wah preserved sausages in Wing Wah Chinese Lap Cheung (Preserved Pork Sausage) and Chicken Steamed Rice Pot, Yang Jiang preserved beans and fine spareribs in Steamed Rice with Chicken Feet and Spareribs.

Nissin instant noodle, premium soy sauce from Kowloon Soy Company and shallot oil are the most essential ingredients to bring this delicious <Soy Sauce Chicken Drumstick with Tossed Instant Noodles> to live. Café Hong Kong strives to ensure the highest of quality in all dishes served. The ensemble has pushed soy sauce tossed noodles to a new high, giving you a truly extraordinary local café culinary experience. A must order. The <Curry Chicken> was rather a disappointment in taste as they still yet to find out the essence of making a real curry right after so many years of chaa cha teng's style of curry. It was less fragrant and bland always overcook the meat and lacking of the aromatic complexity. This happen to most chaa cha teng in Hong Kong and unfortunately this is what the diners have to deal with in the past and now when such dish is ordered. Starting from now until 29 February 2016, Café Hong Kong has launched a 90-min all-you-can-eat opening promotion. You can enjoy 32 items including signature dishes and Dim Sum, and 11 types of “bing sutt” beverage to your selection.
