HUGO BOSS @ FW2015 Ad Campaign

HUGO BOSS FW2015 ad campaign delves deeper into the world of BOSS with a Berlin attitude and an industrial mood permeate the images, featuring Clement Chabernaud and Edie Campbell. Photographed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, with a movement direction by Stephen Galloway. The resulting images captures a striking sense of motion and energy within a dramatic set constructed from layers of anthracite felt. The choice of models was key. "There's an edge about the two of them, which is something that we did not explore as much in the first two campaigns," says Artistic Director Jason Wu. " It's an interesting evolution. Clement has a very masculine look but also possesses a refinement that is extremely modern, while for me, Edie is the face of this generation. The both bring that refreshing sense of now."  The Menswear and Womenswear collections tell one story, grounded in a reduced color palette of black, red, camel and gray. Mixed patterns, innovative use of wool felt and bold injections or color, for him and her, lead us further into the BOSS  universe and capture the essence of an iconic brand.

Ocean Park Halloween Fest 15th Anniversary Launches Asia’s Largest Halloween Celebration

Ocean Park kicks-off its annual all-day-and-night Halloween Fest recently and now in its 15th year, bringing to Hong Kong Asia’s largest Halloween celebration with 10 unique experiences at 8 haunted attractions. Also premiered at the event were two television commercials that highlight Halloween Fest during daytime and at night respectively, with one starring Doraemon’s six main characters.

Collaborating with Popular International Drama is Testament to Stature of Halloween Fest Leo Kung, Chairman of Ocean Park, said, "Since 2001, Ocean Park’s Halloween celebration has become our signature event, making it a talk-of-the-town occasion that draws visitors from around the world every year. This 15th anniversary is an important milestone, highlighted by our collaboration with Fox International Channels to offer our guests “The Walking Dead: Survival presented by Blue Girl Beer”, which brings to life scenes from the FOX Channel’s popular international TV drama “The Walking Dead”. This collaboration further cements the stature and world-class standards of Halloween Fest.”

 Cora Yim, SVP and Territory Head of Hong Kong, FOX International Channels Asia, said, “The last five seasons of ‘The Walking Dead’ have gripped the hearts of many Hong Kong people. Prior to the premiere of the new season of ‘The Walking Dead’ on FOX Channel on October 12, we are pleased to support Ocean Park’s idea of bringing to life the familiar scenes from the TV series during Halloween Fest , letting guests join the survivors of the apocalypse to escape from hordes of walkers. We had a great time working with Ocean Park’s professional team, whose years of experience in designing and creating haunted attractions made it possible to capture the essence of the show."

Fans of ‘The Walking Dead’ would not want to miss this!” H15 presented by Yahoo! Hong Kong, another highlight of this year’s Halloween Fest, started accepting online registration at the end of August. Since the first 3 rounds of registration were fully-booked within a short time, Ocean Park has added two rounds of registration starting at 4:30pm on 18 September and 12:00 on 25 September respectively, to allow more guests to experience the horror during the first seven days post-mortem.

Leo Kung added, “Halloween Fest is extremely popular amongst teenagers and students, who are eager to participate in H15. To cater for their needs, we decided to set the starting time of registration on 18 September at 4:30pm so students aged 16 or above can vie to secure for a place after school.” H15 is a reservation-only limited-admission attraction and requires online registration in advance. During 10 intense minutes, participants will be escorted by a “corpse bearer” on a solo journey all the way from their own funeral, decorated with their own portrait, down to the world beyond on a mortuary bed.

Dr. Allan Zeman, who starred in a viral video for H15 released earlier appeared in his “Zombie Boy” look from the video. He said, “Over the last 14 years, Hong Kong people have taken great pride in the Ocean Park Halloween Fest as the creative team has continuously injected new ideas and elements into this iconic local event. I really enjoyed working with Lana in the promotional video of H15 to present to the public something both scary and comical. The two television commercials premiered earlier today, showcasing the fun and fright of this year’s Halloween Fest. I am sure everyone would want to take home a memorable experience by visiting the Ocean Park Halloween Fest celebration."

This year’s Halloween Fest offers more family-friendly attractions than ever before. Leo Kung said, “Since the introduction of the all-day-and night format in 2013, the number of family visitors attending the event has risen by more than 10% over the past two years, a clear sign of the demand for family-friendly Halloween events. That’s why we are presenting more attractions for families to have a fun time.” Cartoon characters, Doraemon, Dorami, Nobita, Shizuka, Gian and Suneo, all loved by kids and adults alike, will appear in Halloween looks together for the first time. They will greet and take photos with guests at the Doraemon@The Halloween Movies Studio, where visitors can play with sound effects and crystal balls on the control panel and take part in the production of a Halloween movie alongside all six characters. Trick or Treat Pumpkin Trail, Hong Kong’s longest trick-or-treat walk-through experience, challenges guests of all ages with various games, treating them to over a million treats, including Chupa Chups, Mentos candies, Tim Tam chocolate biscuits, stickers, tattoo stickers and other souvenirs.

In addition, the two transforming attractions, where guests of different ages can immerse themselves in the fun-filled park experience during the daytime, will be transformed into the most intense and frightful haunted zones at 5:30pm. On their visit to Toxic Challenge in the daytime, guests can challenge their buddies by overcoming a booby-trapped inflatable course, a first for Halloween Fest and one of this year’s major highlights. In the evening, guests have to run from the clutches of terrifying monsters and a poisonous fog in Mutant Escape. Another transforming attraction is the Lolita Mansion presented by ASUS ZenFone. In this gothic architecture offering, which features meticulous design touches, different Lolitas will take selfies with guests during the day. Guests can download the photos from ASUS Mobile HK Facebook page and have a chance to win an ASUS ZenFone Selfie smartphone. The attraction will be transformed into Bloodborne Mansion when night falls and dark secrets will begin to unravel in the dark.

Roger Vivier FW2015 Hong Kong Presentation

Roger Vivier FW2015 Hong Kong Presentation presents A black silhouette, ethereal blondness, with the tint of porcelain, the character of Catherine Deneuve in Belle de Jour incarnates the mysterious thread in the new Roger Vivier FW2015 collection. An impeccable daytime appearance with the handsome elegance of accessories impassioned with a sensual dizziness. Creative director Bruno Frisoni has introduced a new Belle Vivier court shoe. In black patent leather, it has a heel that starts very slim with a broad base, the Trumpet look, and has a very original, sharply designed buckle. The iconic Miss Viv' bag and thigh-high boots in stretch leather (a revival of one of the House's classics), complete this subtly audacious wardrobe. The collection plays on the variations of desire but is subdued; the elegance appears to be classic, but a stimulating sensuality shows through. From the fantasy of cinema world to a Parisian woman's dreams, the Roger Vivier collection reconciles opposites: feminine and masculine, fragile and solid, innovative and classic, sober and exciting, all at the same time... Some delicately sophisticated accessories to burn with passion!

<BELLE VIVIER PUMP TRUMPET HEEL>
The perfect black pump. The sober lines with sharp edges that give a shoe the sophisticated town look. Fitted with the new buckle with sharper lines and a more tapered look, Belle Vivier recalls those absolute silhouettes of the iconic Parisian women. When Catherine Deneuve walked on almost flat pumps, this new shoe soared several centimetres (10 and 7 cm versions). A more modern dizziness that is found in the new heel shape: the Trumpet. Inspired by Seventies trousers, it spreads out at the base while strictly maintaining gracefulness. Belle Vivier is the new emblem of daytime's beautiful women.

<MISS VIV’>
A softer version of the original bag, the Miss Viv' has a rectangular structure which gives it a more sporty sophistication. Its generous size has been designed for elegant, daytime town ladies. It retains the principle of the double flap while playing with colours and textures.  The matt leather mixes with the patent black, with the Buckle taking on the same dark patent colour. For colder weathers, Miss Viv' is wrapped in fox fur... The totally cosmopolitan bag.

<The Buckle>
It has always been part of Parisian sophistication, and since Bruno Frisoni's arrival, it has undergone many changes: never the same, always unique. For the winter 2015-16, the new version is more minimalist, the frame is thin and the edges sharp. Its look has never been so close to the original created by Roger Vivier. This buckle adorns the new Belle Vivier pump and the stretch thigh- high boots.

<Sphere>
Easily worn for day and night, Stiletto Sphere is the signature shoe that proves elegance and sophistication. The precious ball of the Stiletto Sphere that usually coils up underneath the heel, this season assumes the right to the light and shows itself in cascades on the instep of a multi-strapped sandal. A pair of boots is adorned in Hoffman-style: a stretched buckle, superimposed with geometric effects.

<Prismick>
This geometric, now emblematic, Roger Vivier line keeps reinventing itself. Studded, fringed, in sheep skin, or in printed mosaics, this line is developed around a new little, playful pouch, boots and ankle boots. Prismick also spreads its iconic geometry to an open-toe boot. Multi-coloured overlays play subtle games of colours and let the skin show through. Sensuality and fantasy combine with verve.

<Virgule>
The Iconic Roger Vivier heel, with his playful “comma” signature, travels from boldly and fearlessly days to magical and vibrant nights.  This season Bruno Frisoni has imagined it on a minimalist pump and has adopted the evening vibes with a heel covered in strass or varnished in lively, neon colours.

<Day>
In perfect symmetry with the extreme femininity of the collection, the flat shoes give a hint of the boy lurking in each of these elegant women. On the boots, derby shoes, thigh-high stretch boots, black and white, zips and rubber soles play games, moving the feminine towards the masculine. The shoes are decorated with glass crystals to scramble the message. Tomboy, yes, but very feminine.

<Evening>
The Roger Vivier evening clutches prove the excellence of the brand’s savoir-faire and craft. Precious embroideries, the finest of fabrics and materials and the hand-made element are all part of the emblematic and rich pochettes : Belle Vivier Pilgrim clutch, Boites de Nuit pochettes  and Enveloppes. Silks play with colourful crystals, golden sequences whisper a very subtle buckle design while vibrant shades of colours are matched with graphic patterns.

The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong x GODIVA create an enchanting culinary experience for chocolate and dessert lovers. The Sablés Fine Butter Biscuits Afternoon Tea will make its first stop at Café 103 of The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong from October 1, 2015 to January 1, 2016, followed by six other Ritz-Carlton hotel properties across Macau and China. GODIVA’s travel-inspired Sablés butter biscuits are born out of Chef Chocolatier, Jean Apostolou’s travel expeditions across the five continents, Africa, Oceania, United States, Asia and Europe. The five beautifully crafted biscuit flavours, each reminiscent of the provenance that inspired its creation. Together with The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong’s distinguished chefs, Executive Chef Peter Find and Executive Pastry Chef Richard Long, and GODIVA’s Chef Chocolatier, Pacific Rim and China, Philippe Daue, they have designed an impressive afternoon tea set menu allowing guests to indulge in simple pleasures, as well as celebrating the journey of the senses.

The journey of the delectable afternoon treats are comprised of four layers, a Sablés fine butter biscuit, sponge cake, varying toppings to complement, all topped with matching garnishes to draw out the luscious flavours. Sink your teeth into the Matcha Tea Sablé, this dessert is inspired by Chef Jean’s travels to Japan, the Sablé biscuit is paired with Japanese touches, such as matcha sponge, matcha cremeux and yuzu gel, sandwiched with a light GODIVA white chocolate in between. The Almond Speculoos Sablé is a favourite – it uses European-inspired elements to concoct this lovely treat, the Sablé biscuit acts as the crispy base, topped with a moist almond sponge, garnished with creamy cheesecake and fleur de sel caramel.

For the first time, The Ritz-Carlton is working with GODIVA Chocolatier in a Regional Partnership Program for the Sablés Afternoon Tea. “We are extremely honoured to be collaborating with world class chefs from across the region including Hong Kong, Macau, Beijing, Shanghai Portman, Shanghai Pudong, Shenzhen and Chengdu. Teaming up with seven of The Ritz-Carlton Hotels regionally for the first time, we believe this is the start to a very fruitful relationship,” says Carmen Chiu, Marketing and Merchandising Director, Pacific Rim. Venture off to an unforgettable journey, visit Oceania with the Macadamia Ginger SabléAfrica with the Ultimate Chocolate biscuit, the United States with the fabulous Pecan Chocolate Chip biscuit, Asia with the Matcha Tea and Europe with Almond Speculoos Sablé.

Honouring GODIVA’s Belgian heritage and tradition of fine handcraftsmanship, this experiential Sablés Afternoon Tea also includes a Three-coloured chocolate verrine and Chocolate chip scones, served with a delicious GODIVA Hazelnut hot milk chocolate. To take the afternoon tea experience to the next level, Executive Chef Peter Find of The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong has paired the dessert items with three delectable savoury treats. The distinct and intense flavour of black sesame and foie gras bursts through the Mini Sandwich and is soon balanced by the crisp acidity of the lemon curd, leaving a smooth and flavourful aftertaste. Mellow and airy, the slightly tangy capers cream cheese is a classic complement to home cured Scotland salmon, making every bite of Capers Bread Cube with Caviar an irresistible gem. Featuring sunflower seeds and rocket herbs, the freshly baked Waldkorn Bread with Sweetcorn and Chicken Salad is a light and refreshing afternoon treat for all health conscious gourmands.

Sablés is a European shortbread cookie, the word ‘Sablés’ means ‘sand’ in French, precisely describing its sandy texture, made with granulated sugar, flour and butter. The biscuit has a crispy, delicate yet distinctively crumbly texture, making it a perfect to enjoy on its own or with complementing combinations. The delicious biscuits are infused with complex aromas of their origin, dipped in GODIVA Belgian chocolate, allowing chocolate lovers to indulge in all five individually wrapped biscuits, for moments of spontaneous delicacy or mere escapism to enjoy the pleasures of life.

Dior FW2015/16 Ad Campaign

Dior FW2015/16 ad campaign inspired by Christian Dior once wrote in his autobiography <My Childhood Home Sat On A Cliff & Lay Expose To The Most Turbulent Of Weather>.

As though in homage to the wildness of a nature that never ceased to inspire the couturier, it was at Granville, in a rocky landscape battered by the winds, that the Dior women staked out their territory for the FW2015/16 ad campaign.

The animal-inspired prints covering their clothing and their Diorama bags, their long thigh boots molding like a second skin, and the slashed fabric of their skirts, all designed by Raf Simons, are captured by Willy Van Derperre's lens appearing to melt into the harsh setting, like a new kind of camouflage, one that's feminine and very Dior.
