The MONCLER M Collection

Moncler launched its MONCLER M Collection and held an exhibition with thirty-two skiing mannequins dressed with the Moncler M collection in Hong Kong ifc Mall recently. This is in collaboration with the Greek designer Mary Katrantzou who made her mark in the London fashion scene as the most promising upcoming designer.
The oriental patterns of the duvet jackets are reflected by thirty-two mirrors that multiply the skiers to infinite repetitions. Moncler M, presented for the FW2013 is a collection in which the experimentation does not stop at kaleidoscopic patterns, but also works on contrasting volumes and materials.
The models alternate close-fitting silhouettes that hug the body featuring thought-out sensuality with couture bustiers, to a maxi version constructed using sumptuous nylon spirals with an asymmetrical hem.
The technical appearance of the fabrics is enhanced by fur inserts, which are also used to provide a sculptural take on the proportions of the various garments.

Tommy Hilfiger Launches Seventh Limited-Edition Handbag in Support of Breast Health International

Tommy Hilfiger launches seventh limited-edition handbag in support of Breast Health International. The 2013 BHI campaign reunites supermodels Claudia Schiffer and Naomi Campbell, photographed by Patrick Demarchelier. The 2013 handbag is a midsize satchel-tote cross with a midnight blue core and cherry red side panels. Made of Italian pebbled leather, the bag embraces Tommy Hilfiger’s classic, American, cool aesthetic. A white hangtag accent and white interior zipper toggles are nautically-inspired. Additional features include a large exterior side pocket with magnetic closure, interior central divider with zipper, mobile phone pocket and brass accents. Proceeds of the bag’s sales will be donated to Breast Health International, a leading non-profit foundation that works to advance breast cancer research and treatment. “I am very proud of our annual collaborations with Breast Health International,” said Tommy Hilfiger. “Each year, our limited-edition bag allows us, our fans and our customers to build awareness in a powerful way and raise significant funds for the organization. I’ve always admired Claudia and Naomi’s unique styles, and Patrick Demarchelier is an iconic photographer; we’re honored to be working with them on this important initiative.”
“Being able to play a part in this admirable campaign means a lot to me,” said Naomi Campbell. “As my own mother has suffered from breast cancer, and I’ve seen first-hand the hardships and challenges the illness can cause. I’m a passionate supporter of breast health education, and I’m honored to be able to contribute to BHI’s amazing work.”  “I’m very pleased to partner with Tommy, Naomi and Patrick to raise awareness and support for such a wonderful organization,” said Claudia Schiffer. “I hope with this campaign we can increase early awareness for early detection and help support women and families in need.”

CHEVIGNON @ Modern Label of Indvidualism

Chevignon new Label Collection creates rich layers through exceptional craftsmanship and a refreshing palette. Instead of sewing the labels on the jeans, the House first scratches some holes on the jeans and sews overlapping labels on the patches. The brilliant craftsmanship and trendy design are perfectly complemented by the vintage wash. Chevignon also delights trendsetters with the dark blue jeans featuring colourful labels in and on the pockets, as well as on the sides, creating layers and a bold contrast.

Guy Azoulay, the founder of Chevignon, loves travelling and adventures. Wherever he goes, he always collects special labels and badges that remind him of the unique journeys and memories. It inspired Chevignon to launch its first Label Collection in 1994 and the resounding success was followed and continued by more highly-acclaimed generations. The legend continues now as the 6th generation of the Label Collection arrives.
The 6th generation features a unique set of badges incorporating iconic motifs, including the wing that represents the freedom of aviators, rank insignias and the star that stands for honour. Started as a purely jeans series, the new collection now offers military pants, shirts, tops, jackets and skirts to create a tough and stylish look. Chevignon also incorporates the labels into the military designs. The jacket inspired by the M65 military jacket comes with four pockets and a modern detachable hood. While the denim and leather add a modern touch to the look,  the embroidered Chevignon label on the front highlights the edgy military style.
For ladies, the denim jacket based on the cutting of the F2 military jacket keeps the double zippers on the front and matches them with a standing collar and waist drawstring to create the structural silhouette and tough charm. In addition to the double zippers, the slim-fit denim dress also comes with subtle details, such as the stitching on sleeves and sides, and rank insignias and wing badges on the arms and sides, showcasing a refreshing look. This season, Chevignon, known for its fashion military style, further completes the military look with more stylish military jackets and camouflage designs.
