《Chronoswiss @ Luna Triple Date》

After the successful "LUNAR" chronograph, Chronoswiss now presents a smaller automatic version that also bears the name "LUNAR", right on time for the 1999 Basel watch fair. The name is no coincidence, for the moon, set against a deep blue night sky, passes through its light phases, dictated by the position of the sun, moon and earth, in an unusually large window. This is surrounded by the 31 calendar day numbers, which a small hand points to. Day and month are displayed near the "12". As is customary at Chronoswiss, the solid silver face is designed with painstaking attention to detail. The interplay of guilloche surfaces underlines the valence this wristwatch gains through the additional functions. The time, indicated in seconds, minutes and hours by Losange hands, is kept by the Chronoswiss exclusive Caliber C.931. But it has one feature that is only to be found at Chronoswiss: the skeleton rotor, yet another special Chronoswiss extra with a convenient additional benefit for the wearer: the calendar only has to be adjusted every two months, namely in the months with 31 days. The Chronoswiss case that you know from the Lunar, waterproof up to 30 meters and with threaded wristband lugs, is available in platinum, gold, steel/gold and stainless steel. Face and movement are protected by reflex-free sapphire glass. The question why Chronoswiss decided to go against the current trend with such a large moon-phase display is perhaps best answered the owner of Chronoswiss himself, Gerd-Rüdiger Lang: "In earlier times most timepieces had such large moon indicators. Nowadays things have changed. But as we all know, my watches run a hundred years too slow."

《Armani's New face @ Chater House》

The Armani Group presented their new face of Armani/Chater House, with its eye-catching exterior facade and a fresh store design, which includes a brand new restaurant and an exclusive lounge club with a glamorous celebration cocktail held recently. The Group’s first multi-brand concept store was opened on via Manzoni in 2000. Two years later, Armani/Chater House became the Group’s largest concept store after the inaugural boutique at Armani/Via Manzoni. Today, the brand’s series of concept stores also includes Armani/Ginza in Tokyo, Three on the Bund in Shanghai and Armani/Fifth Avenue in New York. Armani/Chater House excitingly brings together all the brands of the group under one roof, including the Giorgio Armani and Emporio Armani women’s and men’s fashion and accessories collections, Giorgio Armani Cosmetics, Armani Junior, Armani Fiori and Armani Dolci, as well as the restaurant, Armani/Aqua, and exclusive lounge, Armani/Privè, both of which opened in August this year. 
 
 
Giorgio Armani has always personalised each of his retail destinations, giving them their own signature architectural style, taking into consideration the unique qualities of the cities they are located in. Therefore the new exterior facade of Armani/Chater House is strikingly in tune with the spirit of Hong Kong. A giant bamboo motif spreads over the entire 3 stories facing onto Chater Road – the use of LED backlighting accentuates the stylised lines of the gilt metalwork designs. The two new exclusive venues, Armani/Aqua and Armani/Privè, are located on the second floor of Armani/Chater House. They are the result of a close collaboration between the Armani Group and the Aqua Restaurant Group.
